Brief
The Sarv Mangal Co-operative Housing Building Society Limited, Zirakpur was registered in the year 1991. Later on, in the year 1996-1997, more members were added in the society. As earlier members were having there plot, near laguna banquet hall falls in village Kishangarh, Zirakpur. The Executive committee at that time searched a land in Lohgarh Road for its new members. After completing all formalities and this project was approved by the Competent Authorities. To remove the confusion between old members and their land Housing project was divided in two names i.e. Sarv Mangal Society Phase-1(Behind Bikaner Sweet, Zirakpur), Sarv Mangal Society Phase-2 situated on Lohgarh Road, opposite Municipal Park. There are 43 members of phase-1 and 150 members in phase-2.There are few societies in this area having independent houses.
Area of Land
Phase-1 (Near Laguna Banquet Hall, Zirakpur)
The land was bought by the Society long time back. The Society, as on date, has 4.004 Killa (approx. 3.30 Acres) of land registered in its name. There is no provision of Registry, however there is a provision of transfer of membership as per the rules and regulations applicable to Housing Building Co-op Society in Punjab. The possession of the entire land lies fully with the Society. There are total 43 plots and more that 60% of the plots are constructed. There is sewerage, road street lights etc. in the society. This phase is old one and there is no small size of plots and it varies.
Phase-2 (Lohgarh Road, Opposite Park, Zirakpur)
The land was bought by the Society. The Society, as on date, has 12.88 Killa (approx.10.64 Acres) of land registered in its name. There is no provision of Registry, however there is a provision of transfer of membership as per the rules and regulations applicable to Housing Building Co-op Society in Punjab. The possession of the entire land lies fully with the Society. In total 150 plots, 60% of the allotted plots are constructed. There are green belts in society. Park is available in each row. Security is provided 24×7 and CCTV cameras etc.
